the breakfast is wonderful- setting, food, service!
The hotel is in the walled city and consists of remodeled old rooms! The bathrooms will not be like a new sterile hotel but that is the charm! This is my second stay-25 years apart! The staff is very pleasant and Accommodating
1 A wonderful experience and would highly recommend - a taste of the past!

This place was ideal for us as we wanted to be in the old town and the hotel is charming. We stayed in a medieval room in the annex. The little courtyard in the pictures is a tiny shared space so not really somewhere you can use.
The breakfast is a real highlight with a great choice of cooked to order food. The cinnamon french toast with honey was awesome.
The staff are welcoming and helpful. Despina on the front desk gave us many helpful tips in response to our requests for advice.
Our room was comfortable with fresh white sheets and white fluffy towels. The antique furniture is on the rickety side but we had everything we needed, with a good shower and toiletries provided.
We would definitely stay here again as we loved everything about this hotel.

I would fully recommend this. The hotel greatly enhanced our experience/vibe of the old town. Most lovely staff of our whole trip. Great breakfast. If I had to whinge it would be that the room was a bit dark and not exactly sound proof. But overall, great experience and great value for money

This place is lovely, and the staff were always very helpful and friendly. A particular highlight is the breakfast in the courtyard, this was always tasty and freshly made.
Unfortunately water damage had affected our room so we had to change when we checked in. The new room was great still butbit was a shame to miss out on the original booking - but that's part of the situation when trying to maintain such a unique and historical property.
Overall this was a fantastic place to stay for a few nights, the location couldn't be better and it's so quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommend.
