Room was clean. Very convenient location. Shared bath for each floor. Breakfast decent. We parked on the weekend so parking on street was free. Very good location.

I think this was the ideal place to stay in Reykjavik. Close to the church, in the middle of everything, restaurants and grocery store near by, and a really nice breakfast included. It is also about 700m from BSI bus station.

Nice basic budget hotel. Room was comfortable and clean with a shared bathroom and kitchen that only one other room used. Shower was nice and there is a heater in bathroom to hang up wet towel etc. Felt safe and secure. Staff helpful and gave me an ice pack for my knee. Great location next to the big church, Rek Pizzeria with super nice guys working there and Loki authentic Icelandic restaurant. Great Skyr cake! Quiet but quick walk to downtown. I brought my own towel but I saw you could request one. That would be hard if it was after hours. So plan ahead. Also I was not aware the second floor kitchen was attached to my room until a day or two later. Maybe put a sign on the door. I was looking everywhere and thought the door was to another guest room. Signage or a brochure would be good. A bonus was having breakfast included so you could fill up for the day and maybe meet other travelers. Breakfast was basic and the same every day. Good coffee and really excellent breads and jam. Juices. Yogurt. Granolas. There are some sliced cucumbers or red peppers and tomatoes to make a sandwich. The ham was heavily processed so I did not try. Cheese was bland and in a block but ok. Sweet little kitchen and dining area you can use after breakfast. Easy self check in and out.
