This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, with my previous visit being last summer. Although it's located along a busy street, the property is surrounded by trees and separated from the road by a gate, creating a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. The staff are incredibly helpful and kindly offered me a complimentary late checkout after learning that I had an afternoon meeting on my departure day. The breakfast was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will gladly stay here again on my next trip.

I've stayed at the Hyatt at Songshan Lake (close by) and the rooms here are almost identical, same room layout, slightly different bathroom but at half the price. About the only drawback is if you don't speak Chinese (I don't). Only 1 in 20 speak English, where the Hyatt probably more like 1 in 2. But the restaurant staff used Google translator, probably could have never ordered dinner without it. There is a buffet that would make it easier but I avoid buffets. I only rated the amenities a 4 because it appeared there was some remodeling going on near the swimming pool (which looked great but didn't use it) so maybe more amenities will be forthcoming.
