It is very close to Amsterdam Centraal, so you are close to where all the action is. This was actually a lovely Dutch experience. It can be quite intimidating to go up the steep stairs, but it wasn't so bad. The continental breakfast provided a light start to your day. All of the reception staff were very nice. The majority of personal shops close around 6, but the location is very close to a lot of restaurants and stores that open later. I would definitely recommend it if you are a solo traveller or if it is your first time in the Netherlands.

No lift and narrow, steep stairs. Continental breakfast with ham and cheeses, etc. no waffle machine Which would have been a very nice bonus if they had one. Staff very helpful and friendly.
