Matt was a great host, friendly and accommodating. He’s a great guide to what’s going on around the city and that part of the state. The inn itself was very comfortable, well located and a nice break from the usual cookie cutter accommodations. Highly highly recommended.

This was a very nice place to stay. Matt was very helpful in his recommendations of various activities to do or restaurants to sample. The house was kept tidy as well.

The innkeeper and son and daughter were very nice, the food was good in the morning and the stay was comfortable. It was a good stay.

This is our second stay at the Brookside Inn. Matt, the owner, clearly cares about his guests experience. He greats you, shows you around, and makes you feel welcome. And in the morning, he makes a lovely breakfast, There is a kitchenette space with coffee, tea and snacks available all day. We look forward to our next excuse to stay at the Brookside.
