Ask we made our way up the rugged dirt road leading to this property, I sincerely had my doubts as to what I had booked. However, once we walked through the gate to the property it was like entering another world. The place is beautiful landscaped with a lovely pool and comfortable and tasteful lobby/ sitting areas. The rooms are very spacious and clean and tasteful. It is a bit of a hike into town but doable and the town of Tilcara is so quaint and genuine especially the restaurant La Picanteria on the square by the church that we ate at the three days we were there. The only thing this place could improve on was the breakfast which was adequate but nothing more. Offering eggs, even hard boiled ones would have been nice.

This hotel is elegant, well-kept and the rooms are spacious and surroundings are beautiful. Our host, Damián, was very attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Parking was a breeze, and the breakfast had an impressive variety of fresh fruit, homemade baked goods and marmalades made onsite. We had an incredible stay and give this place our highest recommendation.
