Excellent position very near beach and tavernas.
very clean with every thing you need.
only gripe the pool sun shades are fixed and therefore useless at certain times.

We had a lovely stay at Cathrin Suites. The hotel is only a couple of minutes' walk from the beach at Stavros with a choice of local restaurants and mini-markets. The hotel itself is immaculately kept with beautiful grounds full of flowers and sub-tropical plants, and nice little balconies with table & chairs for each room too. I didn't think we'd use the pool much being so close to the beach, but it looked so inviting we couldn't resist. We were pleansantly surprised that both AC and wifi was included in the rooms, and the welcome Raki was a nice touch of Cretan hospitality. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but also not too intrusive.
The only bad thing I can say about our stay is that the room we were staying in seemed to have very thin walls, we were kept up by someone snoring in the next room and then woken up by a crying baby for the first few nights, but other than that it was wonderful and I'd definitely go back.

In the room you have everything you need even iron.
It takes just 5 minutes to reach beautiful Sorbas beach by foot.
Room has been cleaned every day and Vasso and Loula were so kind and helpful.
