We have stayed many times, the big selling point being that it is very dog friendly. The rooms are a good size and always clean. The staff are also very professional.

We have previously stayed at the property and the staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are large clean and tidy, although some areas of the hotel could do with refreshing.
The out side of the property has been cleaned and looks better. However when walking just of the property to the rear there is a strong smell of sewage, and what appears to be sewage waste!!
I did mention this on a previous visit but it looks like it's a ongoing issue?
Also a note could perhaps be put on the website saying that the restaurant/ cafe is closed on Monday-Thursday 11am- 1600,which is quite annoying when you have had a long drive and are unable to even purchase a bottle of water.
We did ask if we could purchase a bottle of water at the reception but was told "No the restaurant is closed"

The hotel and facilities suited our needs. We do think the the shower over the bath would benefit from some type of non slip surface in the bath and also some handrails to make the use of the shower feel safer.Thanks.
