This was a charming lodge! On the quieter part of downtown Gatlinburg, we appreciated getting out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and we enjoyed the experience of seeing a bear meander through the stream behind the lodge (happily viewing from the 3rd floor) from our little balcony. Check-in and check-out simple and straightforward, it was the perfect ending to our trip through the mountains.

We had a pleasant 2-night stay. The road in front of the property wasn't as busy as the main downtown area,so it was quiet, but not too far to walk to the shopping areas. The staff was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, lazy river, and fire pit at the pool area. And our room had a massive TV that was great for catching a few football games over Labor Day weekend. Take the bear warnings seriously though...one was walking along the stream while we were in the rocking chairs that face the water at the back of the property.
