We arrived early so we just went ahead in to see if our rooms were ready. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. He asked us to give him an hour and our rooms would be done. True to his words, our rooms were ready in an hour. They smelled wonderful because the floor had been freshly mopped. The air conditioner in our room was fabulous. We stayed during the wildfires and smoke from the fire in Canada. There was no smoke smell in our rooms. As always, Motel 6 beds are comfortable and clean. We've stayed here before and will do so again. One note, this building is configured a little different. If you need a room on level ground, you need to request 1st or 2nd floor. First floor opens into the lower parking lot. Second floor opens to the upper parking lot. There is no elevator but the stairs are minimal.
