My stay was not planned well in advance. I had a fairly traumatic day with a lot of stress and being on the edge of heatstroke. I was supposed to have been hundreds of kilometers away but could not make it there. I booked the room at Lo Spedalicchio as it was close and well reviewed. The woman working there, Susanna ( I'm sorry if the spelling is wrong), was amazing. She was very helpful and attentive. I was at a very low point and my stay there was great! Thank you!

This a fantastic 13th century former castle near the airport (5 mins) reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic and one has just said taxi's are too expensive and is going to take us to the airport. That is real excellent service

Very nice, but its a long haul to carry luggage from car to reception over gravel. Wheels are of no use. Also, if you have booked the Annex, leave your luggage in the car or you will have to haul them from the reception back to the car; you must drive to the Annex--not convenient. But it is a lovely property close to San Gimignani.
