We found this B&B very clean and comfortable, run by a friendly helpful couple. This place is ideal if you want to stay near Lucca. There are a couple of pizzerie nearby, within walking distance. The nearest one is tucked away behind the pharmacy on the main road a couple of hundred metres from the B&B towards the coast. It is very popular with the locals and serves both pizze and other food. Go there early or book if you can. We unfortunately did neither and ended up at Calogeros across the bridge instead but were not disappointed by the food. All in all a very pleasant stay in Lucca, we would definitely stay again at Il Ponte.A word of warning: if you have a large car you may not want to park in front of the B&B as the space is a little tight.
