I ended up here when another hotel cancelled my reservation - I will say my first thought when I rolled up was I'd somehow driven into the 50s! The front desk was very efficient and friendly, and the room was perfectly fine. I've stayed in some poor places in my time, but I don't count this among them!
The room was clean and well kept, and everything worked just as it should. I am glad I got a ground floor room since the stairs reminded me of a childhood incident, but I doubt most people would care about that. I wouldn't want to stray too far after sunset, but I'd also have no problem coming back here again for a good night's rest.
