Lots of nice detail in the furnishings, everything needed in the room, lots of places to sit and hang out inside and outside, good food, great bread, very friendly staff, great recommendations for activities, nice pool.

Montafoner Hof is a beautiful hotel that still preserves its wonderful Austrian tradition and charm. I really love this hotel, which is why I’m giving it 5 stars.
We stayed during the summer, and I do think they need to start considering air conditioning. The rooms and the entire floor can get very hot. Luckily, the days we were there were not extremely hot, so we were able to sleep comfortably with the window open.
I would happily return, but probably not during the hottest summer months unless air conditioning is added. Apart from that, it remains a hotel I truly enjoy and would gladly recommend.
