Property is old but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Lots of history. Walls are thin. Beds are comfortable enough. The restaurant was convenient and food was good and affordable. I would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at Trail Lake Lodge, and the kindness of the owner and staff really touched my heart! I accidentally left my SD card reader with precious vacation photos in my room. When I realized it and contacted the lodge, the lodge team was incredibly helpful. They found it immediately, mailed it back to me and even covered the postage, telling me not to worry about it. The wonderful hospitality makes this place unforgettable and I cannot praise them enough! It's rare to find a place with such caring and efficient service at a convenient location, and I highly recommend staying here!

If you are traveling to Seward and need a place to crash that’s not to hard on the wallet, then this is an excellent and convenient option. The food in the restaurant was very decent and staff is very polite and helpful
