We love the secluded feel even though you are in the city and near a major highway. It is a large, spacious property and we really like that as well. There have been updates and the overall hotel is nice. The area immediately around the hotel is very nice as well.
On the other hand, my black socks were covered in white or gray dog hair after I walked around in our room (#526) and we had no hair conditioner in the shower. Probably the biggest disappointment was the swimming pool which was green and needed to be treated.
We have visited many times and will continue to do so but we wanted to give an honest assessment.
