We were very happy with the apartment! The location is absolutely fantastic, right on Via Capodieci, a charming street in the heart of the city. The apartment has three balconies overlooking both this lovely street and an even smaller side street. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the balcony, enjoying a partial view of the sea and the wonderful atmosphere of Italian street life.
The apartment is located in a beautiful, well-maintained and well-equipped building. The staircase is also very beautiful and charming.
It is also worth mentioning that early check-in was arranged for both of our apartments without any problems, which we really appreciated.
We were a large group of friends staying in different apartments, and ours was by far the best one.
The biggest downside of the apartment is the bathroom, which is extremely small. There is so little space that showering is quite difficult. Water spills out of the shower area, and there is no floor drain, so water accumulates on the bathroom floor. The washbasin is also positioned very high, making it somewhat uncomfortable to use, and the water did not drain properly. Besides The bathromm was not very fresh.
The bed linen did not feel fresh and had a stain on it.
Another minor inconvenience was that the balcony of one of the bedrooms is shared with the neighbouring apartment, with no partition between the two. This made us feel a little uncomfortable, and we had to keep the window closed at night.

Location is perfect, it’s a very active street with a lot happening every night, but somehow it becomes very quiet by 00:00 tops and remains such for the rest of the night. We enjoyed sleeping with open windows.
I don’t think it’s a repetitive issue, but when we were staying at the property - washing machine didn’t work and it was quite unpleasant. Property manager allowed us to wash our clothes once in the neighbour apartment, but then people moved in and we obviously didn’t have that possibility anymore.

Excellent location and beautiful decor inside.
Nice and spacious and clean. Bed was really comfortable . Good communication with owner and good instructions on how to access too
For such a beautiful property it’s just lacking in a few things.
No coffee machine which is quite surprising and the first time we had come across a place with no machine.
It’s also lacking in cups etc .. whether they have been broken, a few more would be appreciated
As there are not enough for the number of people it an accommodate
It wouldn’t stop me rebooking though as in such a perfect spot in Ortigia.

Great Location. Rooms Comfortable.
Host could not meet us, but we were told how to gain access. Beautiful spacious apartment on arrival, THEN informed we were given keys for the wrong apartment and had to move out by 12.00 the next day. Only 10 feet across the stairwell to the correct apartment but it was half the size of the first! Still nice but there was no hot water and had to wait until the host arrived back the next day for it to work, so no shower to start with. The next day the electricity cut off and I was told to go downstairs to reset it. this did not work. We went out and when we returned all okay. Also, vitrually NO TV signal.
