The hotel's name becomes apparent when you go inside. It's a cleverly designed building to maximise the space available, having been squeezed into an awkward infil site close to the port, at the foot of the Church of Saint Nicholas.
The rooms are clean, modern and beatifully fitted out. All mod cons including a Krups coffee pod machine and Netflix are included. Free welcome water and juice in the fridge too.
Yes, there are a lot of stairs to negotiate, but when you see the location, you will understand why.
Housekeeping was excellent. Bags and cases can be left in reception prior to check in and after check out.
We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay there.

No hot water in the morning but may be solar and there had been a storm

Clean, staff were so helpful and carried out suitcases up 2 flights of stairs
There was a smell coming from the bathroom that wasn't pleasant

Very close to the Port. Nicely designed room with a great shower and lovely toiletries. Comfy bed and tea and coffee facilities. Lovely welcome from the host.
The stairs. There are a lot I counted around 21 in all. From outside to the floor where rooms are located. With a heavy suitcase it was very difficult. If you have mobility issues you might find it a struggle. If you are fit with hand luggage then it’s probably not a problem but we had a heavy large suitcase to manouvre.
