We really enjoyed our stay at Chobe River Cottages at the end of our trip. Our lovely apartment had a comfortable sitting area, a well-equipped kitchen and a covered terrace with curtains we could close. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting with other guests who were also passing through.
A fenced walkway leads to a deck right on the Chobe River. The view is beautiful, especially at sunset! The deck itself could do with a few cosy touches to make it more inviting.
We left a football at reception and hope it brings lots of joy to everyone who gets to play with it :-)

We love the proximity to the river and being able to walk down to the water and enjoy the peace and serenity. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the staff friendly and accommodating, and we like the gardens and the well-maintained pool and the outside table and chairs. Next door is a good coffee shop at Kalahari Tours, and there is a restaurant at The Old House in easy walking distance. The supermarket and bottle shop are also within walking distance. And Chobe Cottages offer a reasonable laundry service.
The overhead fans could do with maintenance. They are either flat out or limp. There is no inbetween.
