Sub Standard Accommodation The following complaint has not been conveyed to the owner as our contract is with Booking.com and as a duty of care to your clients, we would expect some compensation for the sub standard accommodation we had. Pictures have been provided to substantiate our complaint. May I add before I go into the details that Marina who dealt with us at the property was very nice and was representing the owner who seemingly was in China. However when we mentioned the points of dissatisfaction she simply said - this is Thailand. Sunday 11th January - we were informed that the washing machine did not work properly. Informed that a new one was on the way. This did not materialise and we were given one from another rented property one of the photos shows the dirt from the filters. We were given the water bill free as due to the washing machine delay saga - this was a grand total of 480 bhats equivalent to £11.48! The gesture was kind. The “dining table was a disgrace” and the kitchen island was badly stained beyond cleaning. The bbq was disgusting as you can clearly see from the photo. The outside table and two chairs had seen better days and the ONE sun lounger was past its best. The wall paper was ripped in the dressing area. The kitchen work top and doors had obviously been water damaged and a poor attempt made to re cover it. The smaller of the two bathrooms was in need of a good scrub and clean. We did our best and bought LOADS of products to clean. The pool was a big issue - no steps to get in. My sister nearing her 80’s had great difficulty and our friend was not in once during her two weeks due to lack of access. No pool markings - this pool is not suitable for either children or the elderly. For a three bedroom property, two outside chairs and one sunbed is not sufficient. One of the doors had a hole in it. Under the beds were not cleaned. The frames on the windows were in a real dirty state, I did try and clean all the windows but they wer

Good choice

Bed was so comfortable.

I do like property But Sometimes in the evenings, we could smell a little smoke. We thought it was probably garbage or fallen leaves being burned nearby.
