I loved how cosy it was and the view was fantastic (when it wasn’t raining lol) Overall a well balanced trip some sheep in the distance laughing at me making the hole vibe feel perfect and well suited I loved it I strongly recommend you come here for a get away you won’t regret it (the owner is super friendly which was nice of which I deeply appreciate) oh and there was a tardis so if you’re a doctor who fan you’ll love itttt

The bed was so comfy, I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. The place was so quirky and I loved all the ornaments and decorations around, every time I’d look there’d be something new I hadn’t noticed before. John was very informative about pieces in the cottage.
The view! 😍 wow I will miss waking up to it! Also the chance to watch the sunset was lovely and started our stay off beautifully ☀️
Booked it last minute but would highly recommend, it was exactly what we needed relaxed and recharged our batteries. I can’t wait to return!

Easy to find, no noise or light pollution, private but convenient. Good log burner (bring plenty of logs!)

The location was lovely, and the host was friendly on arrival.
Well, where can I start ? There are very mixed reviews on here, and I want to be completely honest. The palace was dusty and dirty throughout , and many pictures proved this. To have no running hot water to wash our hands and cutlery and plates are very basic, and to me, should always be provided. The house is very cold , the wood burner is cosy but once you move to the bathroom, kitchen or bedroom it's cold. The oil filled radiators do not give much heat either and will eat up your coins you have to put in the meter. . I loved the location and host, but because of the facilities and cleanliness, we decided to leave a day early . Very disappointed overall. SORRY JOHN
