The accommodations were spacious for our group of 5. The place was very clean. It was a good location. Parking in the secure garage was great. Top scores for these items.
Although the outside temp was cold, the apartment was hot. We turned off the heat altogether. There was no workable air conditioning, so we had to sleep with windows open. We tried all settings on the digital thermostat to no avail.
I commented about the communications issues below. If you have a phone service that works well in St Andrews, then this place would be great for a family vacation.
The check in process was horrific for me. My provider is AT&T. I was able to make phone calls and get data on my plan as I was in country several days before arriving in St Andrews, but none of the data service would work here. Hence the problem. The management company would not provide check in information until the 4PM check in time. I had no data service. At 4:15pm, I had to call the management company. They said they sent me the details, and I did not receive the info. They confirmed that they could see that it didn't go through. They did not tell me that they would communicate through Whatsapp as all previous communication was through email. So they had me send them a Whatsapp message so I could respond. Their Whatsapp message to me would not work. I had to drive around town until I got data service to open the link. I finally got into the apartment before 5 PM. Then we couldn't open the link to get the wifi information, because again, I had no data service. I called them again, and they would not provide me the information over the phone. Totally frustrated, I went back to the apartment, and my daughter found a way to scan the router to get connected to wifi. After traveling to Europe yearly since 2006, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The data issue was not only my problem. One of our travelers had Verizon, and the same thing happened. The data issue continued throughout most of St Andrews proper. We had to use free wifi in restaurants to receive information.

The property was bright, well decorated, spacious. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked. Beds were comfortable, with ample pillows and cozy duvets. The apartment was close to a walking trail and park, and a five minute walk to the center of St. Andrews.

Great location. Comfortable beds
The apt temp was too hot and timed control. I was unable to adjust.
The rugs were very dirty at the entrance.
Outside the door the hallway was pet stained

We loved the apartment, we stayed only 2 nights. we were out sightseeing & dining most of our time in St Andrews we didn’t use all the apartments facilities.
The apartment was uncomfortably warm, despite turning down the thermostat.
