Good breakfast, exceeded expectations.
There was no internet connection in the hotel.

The gentleman at reception was absolutely wonderful — friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The room was clean, and overall the service throughout our stay was excellent. Breakfast was very good, with a large buffet and plenty of choice. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and felt well looked after.
For a four-star hotel, I was surprised that there were no drinks available for guests in the lobby/reception area in the evening — not even complimentary water, tea or coffee. This would be a very simple but welcome addition.
Although the room was clean, it was beginning to show some wear and could benefit from a little maintenance and refreshing. There were marks on the walls, the tap was loose, and the shower was missing a door. These are relatively small things, but fixing them would make the room feel much more in line with a four-star hotel.
There was also a minor issue with the coffee machine at breakfast, although it was eventually sorted out.
