Not worth it

The location.

Pretty doesn’t mean nice! Firstly, it is right next to the whole complex dustbins(like a outroom) there is always some noise or someone in the courtyard. The apartment has a funny smell, and the walls are dirty and scuffed. Everything was well used and tired, especially the towels. Get used to stubbing your toes and bumping your heads. It has only one actual window(the door also has a window but the dustbin smell, we could not open it) and with the heatwave, it was unbearable. We were running the fan 24/7 with no relief. If there were more windows, especially downstairs you could have created a draft. The shower is extremely small, the bathroom in general is extremely small and you have to dry off in the living room area. No space for luggage. Also, we requested an additional night(before seeing the place) which got approved by the hosts twice but they never processed the reservation. Then all of a sudden they had a booking and could no longer accommodate the next stay. Saying booking.com made the mistake and not them. I found this extremely unprofessional, as they could have processed my request directly after saying yes but instead they waited to see if they could get another booking at a higher price. We were thankful in the end that it didn’t work out as we would not have survived another night in this property. Also, getting a taxi/uber before 10am is almost impossible unless you are willing to pay €60+ for 1.7km drive as there is too much traffic and the taxi services don’t want to take rides for below that amount. Keep that in mind if you need to be somewhere early. My honest recommendation would be to rather get a hotel nearby, there is plenty to choose from for an average of €50 cheaper per night. We expected small, it’s Paris, but damn. This was next level.

It was not a clean as desired. The space was small, and no room for 2 large suitcases, but as we were out sightseeing was not an issue in the end. The location was great, but actual apartment was near the rubbish bin location for nearby shops, and a bit smelly when entering the premises. bed and pillows were great. the dormer window didn't open and blind also not open, so no view to the sky that I was looking forward to. We stayed in Feb-winter-spring so heating good, no issue, but I har hot in summer.
