Great location not far from the front, with free midweek on street parking right outside. Spacious and comfortable, very clean, good quality bedrooms with branded bathroom products. Excellent breakfast. Our 2nd visit and will return. Excellent on site restaurant too!
What is not to like on an overnight stay before onward travel back to the UK.

The Location of the Hotel is very central. Shops around the corner, Beach around the corner and the Tram is just in front of the door.
The stay fell short of the standards expected of a four-star hotel. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with visible stains, damaged skirting boards and no shelf for shower products. The Rituals toiletries were a nice touch but could not compensate for the lack of cleanliness and practicality.
The breakfast experience was also disappointing due to a lack of information and unprofessional staff behaviour.
One morning, we spontaneously decided to have breakfast at the hotel. Apparently, spontaneity is not really an option here — something we unfortunately had not been informed of at check-in.
When we arrived at the breakfast room, we waited at the entrance, only to be told that we had to return to reception to register for breakfast first. On our way back, I overheard one receptionist telling a colleague that we had not yet paid for our stay. Why would we have? We had explicitly stated at check-in that we intended to settle the bill at the end of our stay.
Making such a comment in front of guests is an absolute no-go and highly unprofessional. The employee was speaking Flemish, seemingly assuming that we would not understand what was being said. Needless to say, this left a very unpleasant impression and completely put me off the idea of having breakfast at the hotel again. When asked whether we intended to have breakfast at the hotel every day, I immediately answered no.
Overall, the poor bathroom condition, unprofessional and rude staff behaviour significantly detracted from our stay and fell well below the expected four-star hotel standard.
