Ivy Cottage, Bath – A Quirky Little Gem! ❤️
What a lovely find Ivy Cottage turned out to be! The location is absolutely spot on for exploring Bath, with a bus stop right outside making getting in and out of the city a breeze.
The cottage itself has bags of character and a wonderful quirkiness about it. I'm guessing it's Victorian, which is right up my street! Give me a bit of old-fashioned charm over something bland and modern any day.
The layout worked really well, the kitchen had everything we needed, and with a TV and Wi-Fi we could even settle down of an evening with a bit of Miss Marple – well, we were on holiday after all! 😉
And the beds! Oh my goodness, SO comfortable. We slept like logs, which is always a big plus when you're away from home.
All in all, a charming, characterful little place with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. A proper little home from home and a great base for enjoying beautiful Bath. ❤️
Absolutely nothing to complain about! If I were to make one tiny suggestion, it would be to provide a few coasters to protect the lovely furniture from the inevitable tea and coffee cups – unless, of course, they were already there and I simply didn't spot them! 😉 Other than that, everything was absolutely spot on. ❤️

Cosy indeed. Rebal left a comprehensive guide to the area and activities which was helpful. The buses for town left from outside the house and the journey took around quarter of an hour.

Nice quirky cottage. Lovely village , local pub and shops. Cottage lovely and clean, comfortable beds.
Shower head was leaking so did reduce shower pressure. Didn’t ruin our overall stay.
