About this villa rental
Villa Claudia is situated right on the sea, with a beautiful garden surrounding it and a bountiful vegetable garden, which has always been lovingly tended by the owners’ family. Depending on the season, you can harvest nectarines, plums, kumquats, medlars, lemons, figs, kiwis, apricots, oranges, and even rosemary, basil, parsley, mint, and bay leaves.
A covered porch furnished with sofas and coffee tables serves as a living room for summer relaxation, while a gazebo overlooking the sea, complete with a table and chairs, is perfect for aperitifs or social gatherings in the shade of its canopy. A terrace overlooking the sea, equipped with a long table for lunches and dinners that seats up to 10 people, is located right next to the kitchen.
The shower area, equipped with hot water, is screened by a reed fence and features two sun loungers and a laundry area for hanging towels, swimsuits, and other items out of sight.
Two highly valuable parking spaces and a wood-fired oven at the back of the house.
The bedrooms are small but very comfortable: it’s as if we were on a sailboat, where space is limited but masterfully utilized; it’s no coincidence that 40 years ago, the owners’ father—who built wooden sailboats—designed the layout of the house in this way!
Villa Claudia features two double bedrooms: one on the first floor with a private entrance and en-suite bathroom—known as the “pink room”—and one on the first floor, alongside a single room and another with two bunk beds, all sharing a lovely bathroom. There’s also a relaxation room on the first floor where the sofa bed can be unfolded to create a double bedroom, complete with its own privacy and bathroom.
Additionally, on the first floor there is an open-concept living and dining area with a terrace equipped with two lounge chairs, directly overlooking the sea.
Across the street is the pier, where the house has a boat slip (upon request).
