A pretty looking building but not good if you used to more than very basic comfort.

I choose the place specifically because it was close to the town and the beach. The house is quite pretty and old with an traditional ambience typical to the area. It was cheaper than other places that were available as it was a very busy time. The cooker fridge and freezer are very good quality and cleaning equipment is supplied

The house has been fitted with good quality appliences, but the essential things are not good and could be improved with a very small investment and care. A cheap uncomfortable foam mattress, only 2 cheap thin pillows Synthetic cheap bedding. Because the house is very small and on the ground floor on a steep hill you need to close the windows to not be disturbed by people passing by, although it's actually in a very area. Very strong heat throughout the whiole summer, so a fan would be kind... I booked the place one month before and asked the owners If there was a fan and specifically asked if there would be coffee pods for the machine as I'd carefully looked at the pictures of the listing and noticed this. The response from the owner was very slow and they assured me there would be coffee there. They didn't mention the lack of fan but they did also give helpful information about a place to hide the luggage. We arrived very late and the lock on the door partly broken, so hard to use and frustrating for someone who is tired. There was no coffee for the machine and I sent an email to mention it and the owner responded to say that there should be coffee there. The owner has several apartments in the building So I'm sure that The cleaners would be coming regularly but despite this no coffee arrived. The owner doesn't care enough about the place . We were there over the weekend and there are limited shops open. I would have bought a cafetiere with me if I hadn't specifically asked about this. The place is very small and has a tiny sofa which is actually uncomfortable for two people to sit on and there is no comfortable place to sit other than on the bed upstairs but due to the size of the place is not much you can do about it. The two bathroom lights are connected to the extractor fan and cannot be switched on independently. This means that you Have to make quite a lot of noise in order to use the bathroom If your partner is sleeping.

Dieppe duplex

The duplex was clean and compact. It had all the necessary facilities we needed as a place to sleep. The location was good and the off road parking was a bonus.

The entry to the building was rather scruffy. There were two locks on the door, one of which was clearly broken. The duplex had an old smell and the bedding felt damp on the first two nights, by the third night the bedding felt comfortable as we had the heating turned up a little. As the sofa was under the very steep open tread stairs it was difficult for two people to relax comfortably.

Lovely location for a weekend in Dieppe and surrounding areas

It was a good location with parking and good value for money.

The pictures make it seem bigger but it’s very cute and ample space for two for a long weekend
