Wish I listened to the negative reviews !

The property was extremely disappointing and significantly more run-down than expected. The showers were rusty and corroded, the bed sheets did not appear to be clean, and there was no proper mirror in the bedroom — only a small, poor-quality mirror positioned very low in the bathroom. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and honestly felt like sleeping on concrete. I struggled to sleep throughout the stay and it became so bad that I needed medication just to be able to get some rest. We were also constantly being bitten by mosquitoes during the night, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. The property was so disappointing that we deliberately stayed out late most nights simply because we did not want to return to the accommodation. Eventually, we had no choice but to book another property because the standard of this one was unacceptable. The most frustrating part of the experience was the complete lack of support from the host, Roy. We attempted to contact him multiple times regarding our concerns and were repeatedly ignored. Roy, as the host of this property, you should be ashamed of the condition it is being rented out in and the way genuine guest concerns were handled. We also contacted Booking.com to raise a formal complaint, only to be advised that they could not provide a refund unless the host agreed to it. Considering the condition of the property, the issues we experienced and the host’s lack of communication, this was extremely disappointing. Overall, this stay was nowhere near the standard we expected or paid for, and I would not recommend this property based on our experience.
