We had a great time here. We walked in to a sparkling clean house. There was plenty of room for our family. The kitchen is modern and easy to work in. We gathered at big tables to play games. I loved the outdoor fenced in area off the living room. We didn't have a fire in the fire pit since the weather was in the 90's! However, it was a great place to read and relax. The living room has a sectional that we gathered to have lots of conversations. I could do the walk to the beach and enjoyed morning walks and sunsets on the lake. We were especially grateful for grab bars in the shower so that we older people (84 and 86) could shower safely. So appreciated that. We found our hosts and their helpers to be very kind and responsive. We are so grateful! Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this VRBO for my bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed and was close to all the places we went over the long weekend. We especially loved the backyard space and the large living space where we could all hang out together. The only issue we encountered was that it was a bit toasty upstairs during our stay. The host did reach out to inform me of an issue with the AC and offer options to remedy it. Since I didn’t see that message until near the end of our stay, we choose to just bear with it. That was certainly not the host’s fault and he was more than accommodating enough. Michigan City IN is a hidden little gem… and all of us St. Louis girls who stayed for the bachelorette already can’t wait to return! Would definitely recommend this place to others!

The house is very spacious, just what we needed for a small family reunion.
