The location is perfect with amazing views of the harbour! We could see a little seal swimming one morning! The rooms were cozy. The middle earth pub was lovely next door and so was the fleece a little further up the road.
The apartment was cozy and the views were worth every penny. We could have had with a few things to make our stay easier. Washing up liquid a bin in the downstairs bathroom! Being a large group of adults (6) a few more glasses for wine and beers would have been handy! Really not a put off of this lovely apartment but would have been helpful.

The property was one of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. The location was excellent with a fabulous view over the estuary and the harbour. Parking was very easy with room for one car in the garage underneath and unlimited in the street outside. There was a pub next door called "Middle Earth", don't be put off by the name as the beers, service and food were very good. The walk into Whitby was about 5 minutes and to the Abbey about 10 minutes. The house itself is on three floors with the dining kitchen/lounge on the top floor and also sporting a balcony to admire the town.
The downstairs shower temperature adjuster didn't work (there are 3 bathrooms so it didn't really matter)
The kitchen was a little short of glasses.
Two very small complaints in amongst a wealth of positives.

Great apartment, in a great location. The balcony was amazing.
Lots of minor damage & scuff marks. It was really expensive & we expected everything to be spot on, but sadly it wasn’t 😒

Wonderful location and beautiful views. Plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. In general it was a nice property.
Poorly maintained, issues with the garage door not opening on arrival and had to call out maintenance. Cobwebs and dust in various places of the property, front door handle loose, multiple big stains on the carpet in multiple bedrooms, broken bedside drawers in downstairs bedroom, plug socket loose in downstairs bedroom also. My son found a previous female occupants underwear found in a bedroom drawer!
