The light was out in the entryway. and when we reported it, nothing was done to fix it. We needed more supply, such as laundry soap, toilet paper, kitchen towels

Great Location and comfortable apartment right in the heart of Florence

Fantastic location just steps from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Comfortable beds and sofa which were very welcome after a long day sightseeing. Little bit of noise from street outside but we loved that as it felt alive and buzzing! The apartment had everything we needed, including a hairdryer.

Took a little while for someone to arrive with the keys so we were stood outside for a bit. The cover for the ironing board was missing so that was not useable and a heads up about the old Type L plug sockets would have been good as we hadn't come equipped with the right adaptors. The inner door to the apartment is also a little temperamental and needs wiggling. Also would be good to have mirrors in the bedrooms instead of just the bathroom. These are only picky things though and I would use the apartment again for it's great locality.

worst check-in ever!

the check in system was very weird. one of our friends arrived Florence since the afternoon but the host refused to let her check in or even drop the luggage, giving a reason that I, who was the person booking the apartment, must be there because the host needed my credit card for the deposit even though I told that I would arrive Florence around midnight but the host didn’t have any solutions for us and let my friend just waited outside until midnight. The staff who checked us in was rude and sarcastic somehow, said he didn’t want to be here at midnight because he needed to get up early in the morning while the host charged us for late check-in which I could understand the basic rules of all apartments but hello? one of the guests was here 12 hours ago! The worse thing was the host asked my credit card and written all info on their website to hold the deposit amount by his own which I felt very unsafe and it’s so ridiculous if this was the reason they needed me to be at the place, the other apartments I’ve stayed let me made the deposit payment by myself for security reason. I would not recommend this host to anyone, be aware of apartments florence agency. if you wanna try booking with this agency, make sure the one who booked the place travel together and must be the one who arrive first also, the credit card spent with the booking must travel with you but I’m not guaranteed the safety of your card info. Good luck.
