The location and host Rui were the best attributes of this stay. Rui was incredibly knowledgeable, generous and happy to share with us the history of Porto. The accommodation was just perfect and old cottage on a row of 8 right on the heart of Porto and in walking distance to everything. The waterfront, the cathedral, the pencil bridge etc. it was truly amazing. The house was comfortable and clean and they even gifted us three bottles of their own wine. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation and would certainly stay there again if it n Porto.

This is such a special place to stay: in the middle of the old town, in a historic building, with views of the Dom Luis bridge and trains rumbling by. The house is characterful and charming. The host is helpful and informative. Stay here if you like quirky, interesting, historical buildings. Don't stay if you prefer a brand new, minimalist apartment.
As others have said, it is in a hilly area and the paths nearby can be uneven in parts so bear this in mind. I loved this, but some won't.

Мы прекрасно провели время нашего отпуска в этом прекрасном доме! Если у вас есть взрослые дети и родители не старше 70-ти лет, то этот вариант идеального проживания в этом замечательном доме - для вас! Доброжелательный владелец дома позаботился о нашем комфортном проживании, а также рассказал и показал по картам как можно провести время с интересными экскурсиями. Владелец этого дома - настоящий патриот своей страны и своего города! Все техносистемы в доме работали исправно, смесители и другая сантехника были в идеальном состоянии, не то, что в отелях! Миллион благодарностей и наилучшие пожелания владельцу этого дома, это большая удача для системы Booking.com получить в свою базу недвижимости для отдыха такой объект! Огромное спасибо!🤜🤝
При поиске дома по адресу немного неожиданно было увидеть заброшенные дома и улицы!

La casa de Rui es especial. Tiene una ubicación excelente, eso sí un montón de escaleras para acceder. Al lado de la Ribera y de Gaia, así como de la estación y Catedral.
La casa es una casa antigua con mucho encanto. Muebles antiguos. Rui te explica la zona, el valor de la casa...
El barrio se ve muy viejo, con muchas casas abandonadas.
Nos encantó la hospitalidad, tener la nevera llena de bebidas, fruta...
Rui estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades y nos recomendó restaurantes, rutas, etc. Super bien.
Por decir algo, pero no tiene que ver con la casa, las escaleras para acceder, pero quien no quiera escaleras o cuestas... Porto no es su ciudad.
