Chiemgauglück Vacation Rental: In Traunstein, “the heart of the Chiemgau,” two new vacation rentals are waiting for you! As part of a complete renovation, two brand-new accommodations, each with just under 50 square meters of living space, have been created on the second floor of our building. Lovingly furnished, each modern and high-quality apartment accommodates up to four people. The open-concept living and sleeping area features a wide double bed and a high-quality sleeper sofa. Alternatively, either a travel crib or an extra rollaway bed can be provided. However, there are no separate bedrooms. Thanks to the clever architecture, the two apartments can be connected upon request. The garden features an outdoor sauna that can accommodate up to six people.
Our Chiemgau region is particularly distinguished by its versatility as a tourist destination. Every season offers the opportunity for a stay tailored to your preferences. Nature’s reawakening in spring, the swimming lakes in summer, hiking adventures in fall, and winter sports during the colder months—along with countless year-round activities for “young and old”—ensure you’ll have the dream vacation “in the heart of Chiemgau”! The apartments are available for both short stays and extended vacations. Parking spaces are located directly in front of the house. Lockable bicycle storage with charging stations is available. Upon request, yoga classes are available right here at “Chiemgauglück” with a certified instructor.
The mountain views of the Berchtesgaden and Chiemgau Alps and the Inn Valley are always a treat. The covered terraces and the spacious balcony invite you to linger. Our house is located in the village of Kammer, a district of Traunstein, and is just a few minutes’ drive from both Lake Chiemsee and Lake Waginger. The center of Traunstein, with its many shopping options, is about a five-minute drive away, and the Chiemgau Alps are also just a few minutes’ drive away.

Anyone who loves the nature of the Alpine foothills and the mountains will be delighted by our “Sarah” apartment. When you look out the window or from the balcony, you’ll not only see the summit of the Kampenwand, but you can also let your gaze wander over the Chiemgau and Berchtesgaden Alps and enjoy the magnificent landscape of the Chiemgau region. “Escape the daily grind and dive into relaxation”—this is the motto we’ve made our own, and with our “Sarah” vacation apartment, we offer a high level of comfort for two people or a small family. The lovingly furnished apartment not only impresses with its natural furnishings but also offers numerous amenities expected of a modern vacation rental today.
When selecting the furnishings, we deliberately focused on modern and eco-friendly design; as a result, the approximately 50 m² space features a fully equipped and spacious kitchen that includes an electric stove with oven, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle, microwave, and toaster. The cozy seating area accommodates up to four people. The combined bedroom and living area was designed with great attention to detail. We’ve furnished the double bed with high-quality mattresses and slatted frames. For families, there is also a wide sleeper sofa for one to two people.
We have equipped the apartment with high-speed Wi-Fi. The modern, large, swivel-mounted flat-screen TV ensures excellent picture and sound quality for cozy evenings in front of the TV. In addition, our guests have access to a digital radio with numerous connectivity options for various media devices. The bathroom in this apartment is characterized by modern elegance and is equipped with a shower, towel dryer, toilet, hair dryer, and sink. A washing machine is available in the basement of our building.
If needed, we’re happy to provide a baby crib or an additional rollaway bed. There’s also space for a side bed.
The covered south-facing balcony with a small seating area is an ideal spot to unwind. During construction last year, we made a conscious effort to select natural building materials. The brand-new roof, built using a wood-frame construction method, is insulated well above current standards and offers additional protection from hot temperatures, especially in the summer. During construction, we not only took current fire safety requirements into account but also placed a high priority on effective sound insulation so that you can enjoy your vacation undisturbed.
Environmental protection and the responsible use of our natural resources are matters close to our hearts. That’s why we not only use renewable resources for heating but have also made a conscious decision to harness solar energy.
