We were looked after so well, it was a magical place to stay
The shared bathrooms, unfortunately I made a mistake as there were lots of doors upstairs, none specifically marked as bathrooms and I used the wrong shared bathroom which was a problem

Wonderful old building with lots of interesting history and a lovely conservatory with comfortable seating/table and chairs for a very delicious breakfast. Kettle in the room for tea and coffee and various items for sale that you may need for your stay. A wide variety of jams/chutneys for sale too.
The bunk bed room was very small and squeezing into the top bunk was quite a challenge!

Fascinating building with remains going back to pre-Roman times and every era since. Wonderful overgrown garden - all set in wonderful countryside.
Friendly and welcoming
Shared bathroom and loo, but then I knew that when I booked - so I can't complain. All very clean and well maintained.
