Pay more to stay somewhere else

Location., washing machine and drier.

The shower and the toilet. Toilet is weirdly high and the shower tap is crazy. There are no windows besides bedroom so feels very claustrophobic The bedding was awful along with the beds. Non existent pillows. As flat as the bed

Bad

I've had an absolutely exasperating experience with GuestReady! I booked their "Lovely Parisian Apartment for 4pax" for my two-night stay in Paris from 14th to 16th June. Not only did they fail to provide any instructions on how to access the keys, but I also found out that the keys were to be collected from a Bangladeshi shop that was a 15-minute walk away and not always open. The whole arrangement was ridiculously inconvenient. Their customer service was a ghost town. No response, no assistance, absolutely nothing. In sheer desperation, I ended up calling booking.com's customer service, which is based in the UK. I had to stay on hold for 30 minutes, and that international call cost me more than €50! However, the booking.com operator turned out to be my saving grace. She worked relentlessly to get me the keys and instructions to enter the apartment. Without her, I would've been stranded outside, which would've been an appalling situation in a foreign city. The nightmare didn't end there. The next morning, I was expected to return the keys to the same "Bangla shop" at 8:30 AM, which was, unsurprisingly, closed until around 11:00 AM. Remember, I wasn't just in Paris for vacation. I had work commitments, I had a workshop to attend! During my workshop, I attempted to reach GuestReady multiple times, but all my efforts were in vain. Finally, at around 9:30, they answered and nonchalantly told me to leave the keys inside the apartment. Consequently, I had to leave my workshop, rush back to the apartment, take pictures as proof of key placement, and email those to them. This entire ordeal with GuestReady was a disaster. It caused significant disruptions to my schedule, piled on unnecessary stress, and cost me a fortune in international call charges. Their lack of organization and poor communication was utterly unbelievable. I feel scammed by their service and would strongly advise against using them.

Good

Appliances including washing machine, dryer, kitchen. Location also good.

Dishwasher not cleaning dishes, bed uncomfortable, shower water tended to splash wetting bathroom floor, building entry area dirty and key collection & drop off location over a kilometre from apartment.

posizione ottima
