3-room apartment, first floor or 1st floor, with 86 m² of living space. Entrance into a spacious hallway with coat rack/built-in closet. Cozy living room with seating area/sofa bed, Apple TV, access to balcony or terrace.
Open, very well-equipped kitchen with dining area. 2 cozy twin bedrooms. Shower/toilet with hair dryer. Bathroom/toilet with hair dryer.
The modern, stylish MONTELA Apartments complex, with its architecturally appealing apartment buildings, enjoys a sunny and quiet location, yet centrally in Saas-Grund, set back about 50 meters from the street (where you’ll find the “Unter dem Berg” stop for the PostBus, which goes to Saas-Fee, among other destinations; use of the bus is included with the Saastalcard). The residence offers a wide range of amenities for both winter and summer guests: an elevator in every building, a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers, a ski room with a lockable ski locker per apartment and ski boot heaters, a bike storage room, and a bread roll delivery service. Children’s playground with several play structures. Welcome box in every apartment with treats and kitchen utensils. One reserved outdoor parking space per apartment.

The modern apartments are tastefully, comfortably, and brightly furnished with excellent amenities. Each features cable flat-screen TV (Apple TV) and a radio. The kitchens are very well and fully equipped with a built-in stove (4 ceramic burners), oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, filter coffee maker, Nespresso capsule coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, fondue set, and raclette machine. Hardwood floors in the living room and bedrooms with underfloor heating. Each bathroom has a hair dryer.

SAAS-GRUND: Just under 4 km from the world-famous, sophisticated year-round resort of Saas-Fee lies Saas-Grund, the main town of the Saas Valley. It is an “affordable” alternative and offers a wide range of sports and recreational activities in both winter and summer.
WINTER: Saas-Grund features a small but excellent, sunny, and very child-friendly ski area: an 8-person gondola takes you up to Kreuzboden at an elevation of 2,400 m, and from there, Switzerland’s highest gondola takes you up to a respectable 3,200 m. The ski area comprises a total of 35 km of downhill runs (mostly with artificial snow). Mountain restaurant, adventure playground for children, and a supervised childcare center. A good ski area for beginners. Snowboard park at Kreuzboden. In the Saas Valley, between the towns, there are a total of 26 km of groomed cross-country trails (fee required). Free ski bus between the towns. Switzerland’s longest toboggan run (11 km long) is located here. 22 km of marked winter hiking trails.
SUMMER: More than 200 km of hiking trails, 3 tennis courts, fitness trails. A total of 70 km of mountain bike trails, including bike rentals. Mini-golf. Bars, restaurants, dance clubs, supermarkets.
SAAS-FEE: This world-famous resort, with its imposing glaciers, lies in a small basin at an elevation of 1,800 m and is surrounded by 13 four-thousand-meter peaks, including such well-known mountains as the Dom, Alphubel, Nadelhorn, Täschhorn, and Allalin. The entire town of Saas-Fee is car-free and can only be accessed on foot or by electric taxi. At the entrance to the town, a huge, multi-story parking terminal (for a fee) offers ample parking.
The ski area is remarkable and is used as a training camp, especially by many national ski teams; this is because Saas-Fee is, alongside Zermatt, the only year-round ski area (reduced to the glacier ski area in summer) in Switzerland.
