Terrible! Mildew damp smell

Beautiful location.

The house had an extremely unpleasant smell of damp (or mildew?). I did not want to be there and breathe it in. I arrived after dark, and had a hard time following the directions in the pitch black, as there is no lighting along the road in. I had to call the owner to help me find my way, which he did by phone. Without reaching him, I don’t think I would have found it, the decor is also not nice- Ikea plus attic finds. Overall, foul smelling and unpleasant, absolutely not worth what it cost.

Beautiful cottage set in ancient woodland but within minutes of all the main attractions of the East Neuk of Fife.

Beautiful secluded location. Authentic cottage feel. Set in beautiful mature woodland. Great golf course adjacent. Very helpful and accommodating team.

Stressful and frustrating - cannot recommend

The East Neuk. Plenty of nice places to visit and all very accessible by car.

This property is not as advertised. Publicity states enclosed dog friendly garden. This is not the case. Huge pheasant farm yards away means constant chasing and catching of pheasants - very unpleasant and stressful. This meant dog had to be kept indoors throughout. Owner's response about this was wholly inadequate. We received no arrival info, which meant an hour wandering around trying to find the property. Local residents told us this that happens on a regular basis. No signage for property whatsoever. Property lacks basic equipment: no bath mat, shower slip mat, no iron, no broom, no chopping board for the kitchen, minimal provision of things like tea towels and toilet paper. There's a darts board but all darts were broken; a 'table tennis table' (small desk with a net stretched across it) but all table tennis balls broken. There are the remains of various children's games but all missing parts/incomplete. The property sleeps 6 but there isn't seating for 6 people to sit in comfort in the living room. Very poor - general impression is of someone who isn't putting enough attention into the property and his guests' wellbeing

Relaxing and would like to return sometime in the future also my husband really enjoyed playing golf on the course

Quiet and peaceful

Nothing really tho I think the little cottage needs a refresh as it would make it extra special

Rustig en ruim voor 3personen. Fijn dat je buiten privé kan zitten.

De foto’s komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Buiten (tuin) is veel achterstallig onderhoud.
