Lovely location, well equipped bungalow, squirrels in the garden (we just missed the deer by a day!), natural surroundings, very friendly hosts that left a welcome package with items for breakfast and for a nibble. Would definitely come here again!
In the area there are several nice pubs, castles, footpaths, lovely winding roads, all you could want in the English countryside.
The only reason we scored one point less on comfort, was because there seems to be a little problem with the underfloor heating, which made it chilly when we arrived. This was solved with the electric heater that was already in the bungalow. Also a couple of shelves in the walk in closet might be helpful for people who stay a bit longer.

The cottage was modern clean with lots of equipment oven grill coffee maker. Dishwasher pits and pans loads of crockery and cutlery so self catering was easy. The open plan lounge kitchen diner was comfortable with views through the bifold doors onto the lovely garden and historic woodlands. There was a lovely sheltered patio with garden furniture and a bbq available if you wished. the bathroom featured a spacious walk in shower. The mere was a cute reading nook plus walkin dressing room. The bedroom was upstair with large comfortable bed.
