It was a great place with a couple exceptions, would rent again.

It was spacious, clean and had ample parking for our pickup truck and trailer which can be hard to find sometimes.

The mini split air conditioning system worked GREAT in the kitchen and living room, but didn't adequately cool the bedroom at night. The coffee pot did not work which is a rude awakening for coffee drinkers.

Potential in this place, but the it falls way short

The place is in a good location, I appreciated having a washing machine and dryer, and it was pretty clean and fairly quiet.

Mattress was saggy and uncomfortable and bottom sheet elastic was not secure so came off of the bed while I slept. Places to put our things not entirely sufficient - there was an extremely cheap, cardboard set of drawers, but no luggage rack, which my husband prefers to use. No hairdryer - I asked the host where it was and he said that someone must have taken it and offered to buy and new one and bring it to me when he was finished with what he was doing. By the time he responded, my hair was mostly dry, so I told him not to bother. Interesting that a previous reviewer not long ago also noticed the hair dryer was gone and mentioned this in her review, so this must not have been news to him, or else there is a ring of hair dryer thieves in Fayette County. Toaster was really dirty an then didn't work. I wanted to warm up some bread I had in the freezer and so, since the toaster didn't work, I put it in the oven on low broil for four minutes. This wasn't even long enough for my toast to start looking toasty, but when I opened the door of the oven, billows of smoke came out. It looked as though it had last been cleaned in 1982. For the lighting in the main room, the choice was pitch dark, or the harsh glare of an operating theatre. This could easily be solved by buying a couple of inexpensive lamps with soft white bulbs OR replacing bulbs in the ceiling with soft white and installing dimmers on the switch, instead of making guests run for their sunglasses every time the lights are turned on. In sum, all of the issues with this place could be cheaply and easily resolved (well, the mattress may not be cheap, but the rest are), but the owner has chosen his convenience over the comfort of his guests.
