Disaster & nightmare

Nothing

Red back spiders found in kids room had to remove, lucky I found them. Otherwise could have been fatal for my kids. After we paid, response time took over 4 hrs by owners to arrange the second room which was locked and was a ridiculous cost , it was held us at ransom even though we wanted to sort out immediately by cash, it took hours online, kids were very stressed. Even though we saw both owners drive in and out of their property next door who ignored us until late evening, and definitely saw our emails, phone calls and text messages. Advertising was wrong on website and misleading saying it was a 2 bedroom house with bunks but just a single cheap half unit with chipboard flooring and cheap interior. Google maps showed it has a long drive way but it’s actually a half an illegal drive way where you have to drive over a a gutter with no room for even a large car which you don’t find out to the day you arrive. Two junkies bashed on the door at night in the dodgy cheap neighbourhood, I had to battle them to f-off, It’s a really bad/unsafe area. Felt unsafe at night with the people making noise, mainly for my young family. Dog shit in the walk ways and in the front bin area which stunk, bins covered in maggots and an ants nest. Rooster in owners property waking everyone up early morning should be removed for anyone in that area for their sake also, dogs were also loose barking at kids. Floor was full of water/completely wet when we first opened the door I slipped fell and hurt my back.resulting in a safety injury. Still in pain and have to report this. This cleaner should be no longer doing this job / gone completely as the unit was dirty at best with rubbish still lying around. and accountable for causing safety injury to the public. This property should be taken off the market to stop ripping off other families, ruining holidays, and most importantly risking safety if they are honest people.

great location to Geelong attractions, nice and fresh interior, had everything we needed for a small family and dog staying, good communication from owner throughout stay when needed

Good location.

Wasn't cleaned properly, dog hair everywhere. Air conditioner was temperamental, only worked sometimes. Much smaller than anticipated.
