We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend

Falsely advertised property - no pool. Avoid

The location

The property was falsely advertised. The pool (which it states on the property details as been open all year round) has not been open at all in 2025 and from the pictures it looks like it will take a lot of work to get it open. At no point was this communicated prior to arrival. The owner of the property did not acknowledge this as a problem and expected us as guests to walk AND PAY to use another pool (which was smaller and with a worse view!). The apartment is basic and the beds were uncomfortable but we were expecting that. The main issue was lack of pool and restaurant.

Would highly recommend

We stayed at the property for our anniversary. The owner left us chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco which was amazing. We had a lovely time. The apartment was beautiful and had a massive balcony.

Air conditioning was good, although didn’t seem to be very cold.

AVOID at all costs

Absolutely nothing.

I arrived late at night to this property. I was provided with a code for the main front door, I dread to think how many people have access to this code. Upon entering the apartment, it looked nothing like the photos. Photos online were very deceiving, made the apartment look much more modern and spacious than it actually is. The main issue with this property is that the balcony door did not lock. The balcony opens up onto a terrace which has easy access to the public road and numerous other apartments on the same level. I contacted booking.com and the apartment wormer directly who did nothing about the issue and expected me to stay in an insecure property. At 2am I had to walk around Portugal to find emergency accommodation for the night. The next morning the apartment owner contacted me to say there was nothing wrong with the locks and he would be doing nothing further about the issue. As a young female in a foreign country, the level of customer service I received both from Booking.com and the apartment owner was deplorable. Neither companies were willing to do anything about the lack of safety in this apartment, not to mention the deceiving photographs. The owner claims that there were no issues and everything was checked but I can confirm the locks in this property did NOT work. This experience was entirely unacceptable and caused me a lot of distress. It ruined my holiday.

La piscina, la ubicación y la terraza.

LA limpieza y abandono de los exteriores, da una imagen de descuido y abandono total. Además un día nos encontramos la puerta exterior cerrada y tuvimos que saltar una valla para poder acceder a nuestra zona de apartamentos. Los restaurantes estaban cerrados y parecían abandonados.

Mobiliário e utensílios antigos. Capa de cama contendo restos de cílios postiços o que remete que não parece que tenha sido lavado. Travesseiro velho, muito usado.
