Great location close to the beach and beach cafes. Nice shower with hot water. Good access for bicycles and enough space. Outside solar lights a nice touch.
There have been some excellent reviews so understand that this may be a bit more to the point. But they can be rectified. Accommodation smelt of urine when we walked in and at times. This is probably due to drains, as Los Alcazares has been flooded recently. So if this is the case then it is not the owner’s fault. If not then it may be due to water ingress behind the shower or sink. If so then re caulking and sealing should be done. The apartment is North facing so is a bit dark. So it could be brightened up by re decorating. New plates not the cheapest available. In addition the owner must pay the letting agents a good amount of money so they should do basic checks like batteries work for the TV. A lamp was not working because it had no bulb. The tables were wobbly, so fitting new felt underneath is an inexpensive mend. Table outside screaming out for a Varnish or teak oil. The clothes horse was left outside so had gone rusty in places which stained clothes. Also no extraction fan in bathroom so a shower results in room and mirror steaming up. In addition the pillows smelt of human odour. They should be washed or changed for new. These points may seem trivial but we stayed here for 2 weeks and heeding these criticisms will result in in a better experience for customers and improve the income for the owner. Very interesting to see the letting agent”s reply.
