About this house rental
This property has received the highest ratings on other platforms. Would you like to spend your vacation in an elegant and refined setting with a breathtaking view of the sea? A~Mare is the perfect choice for you. Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience: in the morning, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the reflection of the ocean waves on the ceiling. For breakfast, you’ll find several fruit trees in our garden: oranges, lemons, pears, plums, and apricots—literally “zero-kilometer” produce! All of this can be enjoyed in our large Ligurian-style garden. After breakfast, in just ten minutes, you can be in Portovenere or at the La Spezia train station, where trains depart for the Cinque Terre. But that’s not all. Our home not only boasts an enviable location but also stands out for its unique style. In the 18th century, the house was a monastery for friars and was once directly connected to the church via an underground passage. In the 1990s, the house was completely renovated and furnished according to the refined taste of my grandparents, Carla and Luigi: vintage tiles by Gianni Versace, solid wood furniture custom-made by artisans, and a bathtub with lion’s-foot legs are just a few of the details that will impress you the most.
Our home, A~Mare, is located in Fezzano di Portovenere, in the Gulf of Poets. That’s why it’s the ideal base for exploring all the other unique places in the area! Fezzano di Portovenere is a small seaside village that’s more intimate than other, more crowded destinations; by staying with us, you’ll be able to truly appreciate the local charm. Plus, Fezzano comes alive with traditional restaurants where you can savor the best local dishes, as well as bars where you can enjoy a great aperitif!

Very clean, comfortable house. Very quiet , quaint neighborhood! Beautiful view of the sea, great restaurants around. The property has lemons, orange and pear trees that you can consume if you want.
The best part is the owner. Mirca is a beautiful soul, and she cares about your stay, and will go out of her way to make sure your time is pleasurable. She is the best part of this house.

Beautiful property with great views in a quiet neighborhood. Easy distance from the train station to access Cinque Terre without having to navigate the crowds and narrow roads. Hosts Greta and Mirca were very responsive and helpful. They also gave great recommendations. Would recommend to other travelers wanting to explore the area.

My family and I had the very good fortune to find this beautiful property for our Cinque Terre adventure! The sea view is spectacular from this property! And the location is perfect. But the furnishings are incredibly beautiful antiques. Everything is spotless, new and fresh. It looks like a palace fit for a queen! With great attention to every detail, this flat is very well appreciated and has gorgeous decor and furnishings in shades of pinks and gold with earthy green accents. It really is quite stunning. And the garden is lovely too!
I have traveled all around the world and have had hundreds of hosts. Greta and Micha were such wonderful hosts. They’re the best hosts I have ever had. They feel like family now. They made sure we had all the information we needed and communicated so clearly and so promptly. I give this vacation rental my highest possible recommendation for every reason! We will return very soon and stay longer next tine.
