About this house rental
If you are headed to Yosemite ( 11 miles from the south gate) or Bass Lake (just 4 miles) or just want to escape from the crowded city, this home is the answer. The house is on one of the best Lewis Creek frontage properties where you can listen to the relaxing sound of the waterfalls in the backyard or take a dip in one of the 3 refreshing pools. This 3 bdrm 2 bath home offers a view from every room.
Conveniently located off Hwy 41, only 4 miles from the town of Oakhurst. The well-established neighborhood is quiet and the cabin is in a cul-de-sac. The neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. There are restaurants nearby or you can take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. There are TV's in every room, and a dog door that goes out to a large and secure fenced area for your pets to roam yet be safe. The house above is also a vacation rental. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

What an amazing property. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. The check in process was so easy and all the needed information was quickly provided. We were welcomed with a cute handwritten note and freshly baked cookies. The house is so charming and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting on deck listening to the river and the short walk to the waters edge. The picture window provided a great view of the hummingbirds snacking at the feeder. Our host was available for questions if needed and quick with responses. A great place to stay just outside of the South gate of Yosemite.

The house was wonderful and the view was so peaceful. Our dog was in heaven running down to the creek and laying on the deck. The kitchen was well equipped and so were the bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub, even on a hot day. The nice touch from the host were the homemade cookies to greet us!

Excellent stay here. Listening to the creek all night through the open windows was soothing and peaceful. We had dogs with us, and they loved the large, fenced backyard, spending the first hour of each morning sniffing every inch to see who had visited during the night. Beds were comfy as were the couches. The hall bathroom has a nice, roomy tub with jets. We walked 2 doors down to the neighborhood park and played in the creek there as well. My favorite things were the beautiful succulents around the place, and the dining room tablecloth which we immediately removed so as not to get it dirty. We did 2 loads of laundry during our stay and the washer and dryer were top of the line. Can't wait to come back to this house next summer.

Awesome stay close to Yosemite National Park! We loved the creek behind the house. Beds were comfortable. We highly recommend this stay.
