Owner is fantastic sending you lots of vital tourist information on morning of trip via WhatsApp. He treats you like a member of the family.
Google maps does not detail public transport so owner was great telling me C9 bus to get once I’d exited the coach/bus station. Contactless payment worked fine on bus & only 35 lira. Takes approx 20 minutes to get to accommodation.
Able to walk to most places, got boat too.
Room is great with fridge outside & if you have a balcony, nice place to dry towels. Bedside lamp available. Tea & kettle available outside room. AC in room.
In room 302 the bathroom light & fan switch is behind the cupboard (easy to miss).
Jim kindly washed some of my clothes without charge within 1 day of me handing them to him. He leaves dried laundry nicely in a basket in the morning for you to collect. He is very nice in offering regular replacement of towels.
Sok supermarket right outside your door. Lots of other tourist places easily within walking distance.
PTT - Post Office cash machine that does not charge for UK travellers withdrawing at ATM only 10 minutes away. Ensure you take out money in lira.
Overall great place to stay and will never forget the helpfulness & generosity of the owner. Much appreciated.

Excellent Value for Money – Clean, Affordable, and Friendly!
I’ve stayed at several different places in this city before, but honestly, I’ve never found anywhere that offers such great value for money!
The place is exceptionally clean, very affordable, and perfect for travelers looking for a comfortable stay without spending too much. Everything is well-maintained, and you can really tell that the owner cares about the guests.
A special thanks to Jim, who is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything you need. One of the nice little extras is that you can even do your laundry for free, which is a fantastic bonus!
The room is quite small and basic, with essentially just a bed and a shower. However, considering the excellent price, I really can’t complain.
Also, there is no 24-hour reception, but this is clearly mentioned in the property description before booking. The self-check-in and self-check-out process is simple and convenient, so it wasn’t a problem at all.
Overall, I highly recommend this place! If cleanliness, affordability, and genuine hospitality matter to you, it’s hard to find a better deal in this city. I would definitely stay here again!

The beds were comfortable and the room a good size for the cost.
If someone is smoking in the split balcony you can smell it.

It is clean and the host was friendly with me
ANZAC day is on the other side of the peninsula so unless you catch a ferry with limited capacity, you're going to get stitched up on tolls crossing the bridge. Bed was not particularly comfortable, scratchy blanket, not a duvet. Woke up on second night after all-nighter for memorial to host yelling at another guest. Granted she was cooking chicken in a rice cooker in her room (not allowed for several reasons), but the argument went on for a long time at high volume including police being called. Kinda killed the vibe.
