The entire stay was a nightmare!

Location

We wish we could leave a short review but it is not possible. I’ll start from the beginning. The apartment is not bad and the location is good. This is all the positives we can say. Now to the negatives, and I’ll start with the worst one: 1. The air conditioner in the main bedroom has been installed with technical errors, the condensation does not go on its own and the air conditioner turns on the drainage pump for 5-6 seconds every 10-15 minutes, which gives you a feeling of an entire tractor passing through the bedroom. Impossible to sleep, but if you were lucky to drift off before the pump starts, don’t worry – this will quickly change to you being wide awake again. We stopped using the air condition within an hour. To make the temperature comfortable in the apartment, we had to rely on the air conditioner in the smaller bedroom with all the doors open. 2. There were no blankets. We asked the host twice if they could bring one by sending an both in English and Spanish. The host did not reply. We improvised and crafted a sandwich-blanket with layers of bedding sheets and towels. 3. The freezer is practically not working as all the food was defrosted by the following day. 4. The pillows and mattresses are a torture instrument. From all our travels previously, this topic was always at the very end of our comments. 5. No air conditioner in the living room/dining room. 6. No smaller bins in the bathroom or bedroom, so everything had to taken by hand to the kitchen bin. 7. With the abundance of plates and pans, there was no cutting board to cut food, so we had to rely on plates. On day 5 my wife became very unwell with infectious pneumonia, and I am pretty certain that the source of this infection stems from either the air conditioner with standing condensation for months, or the swimming pool within the internal square of the apartment building. My wife spent 10 very trying days in the hospital, whilst I slept in the chair.
