The location was fantastic! Super centrally located and reasonably spacious. Our host was on time to meet us and was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The double bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, as were the two single beds in the second bedroom.
The pictures were not very representative of the apartment. They showed a place that was fresh and tastefully decorated, but in reality, it was tired and in need of some repairs and refreshing. The shower head holders were broken in both bathrooms forcing you to hold the shower head the whole time in the shower. The rain-shower in the main bedroom was quite clogged and therefore unusable. The photos showed a sofabed that was fully open and functioning, but in reality, the apartment had a trundle bed that was broken and could not be used as a double bed. In fact, it was not the one from the photos. As we were a group of 6 with three adult couples, this was extremely disappointing as it forced one adult to sleep in the small (uncomfortable) cot in the second bedroom with another couple. Perhaps this would work for a family, but was less than ideal for us. Fortunately, it was not too hot in Rome during our stay as the air conditioner in one bedroom was displaying an error message. When we mentioned this to the host, she claimed to not know about it, however a quick glance at previous reviews indicated that this was a previous complaint from another guest, even showing a photo of the same error message.
The kitchen was fine but would benefit from some wine glasses, given that it is located in a wine country. Also, a dishtowel is nice to have to help dry dishes and hands in the kitchen.
