The location was very convenient since it was near the main shopping centre and restaurants.

I loved it here, it was such a nice cosy room and very clean. Our room was well laid out so it didn't feel crowded with a desk and full kitchen if you wish to cook. The bed was very comfy and I loved having a proper big window letting in lots of natural light which a lot of apartments don't have in Japan. The aircon worked well. The bathroom was really nice, clean and spacious. The man who owns the place was so nice and friendly, he let us in our room a few hours early with no extra charge which was so nice after traveling for a few hours to get to Kyoto. He also owns the restaurant/bar downstairs which looked lovely. There's a washing machine available for use on the rooftop with a washing line to dry which was amazing. The building rooftop is gorgeous with a lovely sitting area and views across Kyoto. There are steep stairs to the apartments with no lift, not a problem for us but worth noting in case you have mobility issues. The location was perfect for us, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, it's a really peaceful neighbourhood after being in busy Kyoto. It's about a 5 minute walk to the peaceful riverside which is lovely to wind down in the evenings. Most of the time we just walked into the centre of Kyoto which takes about 15 minutes but it is really close to a bus stop with lots of good bus links and about a 7 minute walk to a subway station. I highly recommend staying here to visit Kyoto, I will be back!

Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt und das modern eingerichtete Appartement sowie die Gastfreundschaft des Gastgebers besonders zu schätzen gewusst. Soco Rooms wat für unseren dreitägigen Aufenthalt ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, und etwas ruhiger als das touristische Zentrum. In der Umgebung gibt es tolle lokale Restaurants. Die Dachterrasse und die Möglichkeit dort unkompliziert zu waschen, waren einfach super.

L’emplacement dans un quartier sympa et un peu plus calme que dans l’hyper centre. La taille et le style de l’appartement.

L’air conditionné ne fonctionnait pas assez fort et l’ambiance était bruyante.
