I really loved my stay and hope to return

It is very close to everything, yet tucked slightly off a square so that there is some privacy. The owner’s mother is a delight and is very near if anything is needed!

Great value for money

Spacious and clean apartment for 2 people. Great location from the beach and the pedestrian streets in Nazaré where most of the restaurants are. The host is very nice and agreeable. The beds are very comfortable.

The narrow pedestrian streets are quite busy with people talking and you can hear the noises and voices from inside the apartment (especially those from the back kitchen of a very popular restaurant in Nazaré located just in front of the apartment's main door). Earplugs are necessary if you need silence/quiet to fall asleep. There's no easy parking nearby and you have to park "illegally" to load/unload your car. The rest of the time there is free parking 10-15mn away from the apartment (walking distance).

We loved it!

We liked the friendliness of the host and the proximity of the sea. The house gave us a sense of being at home(renovated, including windows). Beautiful antique furniture. Also, the experience of living in a traditional Portuguese fishers' village reminded us of old, less stressful times. Dona Cacilda received us as if we were family, so lovely.

The mattresses were too firm for us, maybe it is ok for other people. As a "res do chão " house, we could smell the humidity, specially in the bedrooms. It is something difficult to control. The renovation of the house was very well done and walls are completely dry.

8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
